Kichiro

Kichiro is a 5'7" young man who is not growing taller anytime soon. His short black hair is neatly styled somewhat, its bangs framing his face, ending just above his left eye. A singular mole adds a subtle touch of character to his left cheek, situated just below his eye. Bags beneath his eyes and slightly droopy eyelids give him a perpetually sleepy appearance. His monolidded, dull brown eyes reflect little to no light.

Kichiro opts for simple attire when not in his school uniform. Dark and faded colors dominate his wardrobe, showcasing his preference for blending into the background rather than standing out. His clothing of choice usually consists of plain t-shirts and pants.

Although he deliberately avoids standing out too much, there's a subtle desire for attention in his demeanor.

Kichiro comes off as very sweet. He has a boyish charm, a ’little brother’ type figure, that makes you want to take care of him. He is generally friendly. He can be very shy, and he flusters quickly, which often turns into grumpiness. Tsundere, I suppose.

He seems empathetic and in tune with his peers’ emotions. He often encourages others to be straightforward with their feelings, though he is never honest about his own. He prefers to hide his own emotions, deeming them ‘weird’.

Despite his kindness, he can be very manipulative to get what he wants, such as answers or a certain result. The manipulation appears subtle, but there's usually a lot going through his mind. Sometimes he doesn't even realize the lengths of his own manipulation.

He's not empathetic at all. Actually, quite the opposite. Most of the 'empathy' he exhibits has been learned from watching his peers interact. He watches people closely, he's obsessed with being perceived as normal. He’s very paranoid of being seen as anything but that, and of others finding out about who he ‘truly is’.

It drives him to the point of going to extremes to rid himself of said paranoia, like threatening the person who 'knows'. Kichi frequently assumes the worst. He’s quick to defend himself and his family, and quick to act upon anger. While he hides his genuine emotions, he still struggles to properly manage them behind the scenes. Because of the effort he puts into masking his instability, he’s quite ‘normal-passing’ to the public eye. However, he is often plagued by loud, intrusive thoughts of hurting the people around him, especially those that get too close.

• Due to the paranoia that a specific someone’s after him, he often carries a boxcutter in his pocket. It's his comfort item.
• He listens to digital pop (Perfume, Daoko), vocaloid (KikuoP, PinocchioP), and light band music.
• His favorite series are Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun and When They Cry.
